Halloween 2008

WOW! Our fall has been so much fun so far! The kids had a great Halloween. They both picked out their costumes. Isaiah was a ninja and Abigail was a mermaid. A week before Halloween we attended Isaiah's school fall festival. On Wednesday, Oct. 29th, Abigail's preschool class got to dress up in their costumes and Trick or Treat at the hospital. I was able to go with her class. It's amazing watching Abigail in that setting. She has such leadership qualities, is very outgoing, and the kids just all want to be her friend. Then Halloween night we attended our church fall festival which consisted of train rides, a giant maze, face painting and lots of games. This year was a "slime theme" so the kids enjoyed putting their hands in some "slime". After the fall festival, we joined our next door neighbors who hosted a neighborhood hay ride that took the kids house to house trick or treating. I just love our neighborhood. We are on the outer city limits of Lubbock and our neighborhood is almost like it's own little community. There were golf carts everywhere and other hay rides with trick or treaters. The kids loved it! I even got into the spirit this year and decided to dress up too. The kids really got a kick out of that! We are looking forward to more good times left to come.
